02What data we process
We only process the data you provide to us yourself, and the technical data needed for the website to function and for analytics:
- Booking and contact data — name, phone number, e-mail address, information about the animal/meat, preferred date and time, as well as any notes you enter in the booking form or send us via WhatsApp/e-mail.
- Order data (online shop) — first name, surname, e-mail address, phone number, the selected parcel locker or collection point, the goods ordered and the amount, as well as company details if you provide them for the invoice. Payment card data is processed by Stripe — we do not have access to it.
- Anonymous visit statistics — the page visited, country (determined from the IP address), device type (phone/computer), and the page or advertisement you came from. We do not use cookies for these statistics and do not store the IP address: visitors are distinguished by an anonymous code that changes every day, so it is not possible to identify you or track you across several days.
- Technical and statistical data — IP address, browser and device information, pages visited and interactions, collected by cookies (see section 5). This data is collected only with your consent.
03Purposes and legal basis
- Processing bookings and enquiries — to contact you and provide the service. Legal basis: taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR; in Latvian: Vispārīgā datu aizsardzības regula, VDAR)).
- Order fulfilment — payment processing, delivery, invoicing and communication about the order. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and the legal obligation to retain accounting records (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- Anonymous visit statistics — to understand how many visitors the website has and which pages are viewed. Legal basis: our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Raw data is deleted after 400 days.
- Website analytics and advertising optimisation (Meta Pixel and Conversions API) — to understand visits, measure advertising results and show relevant advertisements. If you have given your consent, our server also passes to Meta the products viewed in the shop and added to the basket (with the IP address, browser information and Meta cookie identifiers), and after a purchase — the order data: hashed (SHA-256) e-mail, phone number and name, purchase amount, products purchased, IP address, browser information and Meta cookie identifiers. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time.
- Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads measurement — to understand how visitors use the website and to measure the results of Google advertising (for example, purchases, booking requests, calls and WhatsApp messages from the website). Cookie identifiers, pages visited, interactions, browser and device information and approximate location are processed; in the case of a purchase — the order number, amount and products purchased (without name, e-mail or phone number). We use Google Consent Mode v2: without your consent, the Google script is not loaded and Google receives no data. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
04Data recipients and transfers
We do not sell personal data. Data may be processed by our service providers only on our behalf:
- Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. — Meta Pixel and Conversions API for analytics and advertising (only with your consent). Meta may transfer data to countries outside the European Economic Area, applying appropriate safeguards.
- Google Ireland Ltd. — Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads advertising measurement (only with your consent). Google may transfer data to the USA under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
- Website hosting service (Vercel) — to ensure the operation of the website.
- Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. — processing of card payments in the online shop.
- Supabase — storage of order data (servers in the EU, Frankfurt).
- Resend — sending order confirmation and notification e-mails.
- Omniva (AS Latvijas Pasts), DPD Latvija and Venipak — delivery of parcels to the selected parcel locker or, for courier delivery, to the given address (name, phone number, e-mail and, for courier delivery, the address).
05Cookies
Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device. We use two types of cookies:
- Necessary — ensure the basic operation of the website and store your cookie choices (kept in your browser, not sent to third parties). They operate without consent because they are technically necessary.
-
Analytics and advertising — Google
Analytics 4 (cookies
_gaand_ga_*, stored for up to 2 years) and Meta (Facebook) Pixel. These cookies and the related scripts are loaded only after you give your consent. They help us understand how the website is used, measure the effectiveness of Google, Facebook and Instagram advertising and show you relevant advertisements.
If you choose “Reject”, neither Google Analytics nor Meta Pixel is loaded and no data is sent to Google or Facebook — including from our server after a purchase. If you withdraw your consent later, the Google Analytics cookies are deleted. You can change your choice at any time:
06Retention period
We retain order data and invoices for as long as required by accounting legislation (up to 5 years). We retain booking and contact data for as long as necessary to process the enquiry and to pursue our legitimate interests or comply with legal requirements, after which we delete it. Cookie consent and analytics data are retained in accordance with the periods set by Meta or until consent is withdrawn. Google Analytics event data is retained for 14 months.
07Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- access your data and receive a copy of it;
- rectify inaccurate data;
- request erasure of your data or restriction of processing;
- object to processing and withdraw your consent at any time;
- data portability;
- lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority — the Data State Inspectorate (DVI) (www.dvi.gov.lv).
To exercise your rights, please write to us at hunter.taurene@gmail.com.
